On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are delighted to welcome all delegates from around the world to the 7th BCM–CUHK Joint Symposium in Clinical Genetics, to be held on November 7–8, 2026, at the Hopewell Hotel in Hong Kong.

This Symposium continues and deepens the longstanding collaboration between the Department of Molecular and Human Genetics at Baylor College of Medicine and the Departments of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Paediatrics at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Our shared vision is to build a high-level international platform in clinical genetics that promotes cross-regional and interdisciplinary science, cultivates young talent, and advances the development of clinical genetics across the Asia–Pacific region and beyond.

This year’s scientific programme highlights the rapidly evolving landscape of genomics in medicine, with a particular focus on innovations in women’s health and reproductive genomics, therapeutic advances in rare diseases, and the growing role of artificial intelligence. Together, these themes reflect our commitment to translating the 21st century innovations in genomics and advances in AI into meaningful clinical applications that improve patient care.

We believe this carefully curated scientific programme delivered by world-leading experts will not only provide state-of-the-art clinical updates, but also stimulate new ideas, forge collaborations, and inspire the next generation of clinicians and scientists devoted to improving outcomes for patients and families affected by genetic conditions.

Thank you for joining us and for contributing your expertise and perspective. We warmly welcome you to the 7th BCM–CUHK Joint Symposium in Clinical Genetics and wish you a productive, inspiring, and enjoyable meeting.

We look forward to welcoming you in Hong Kong.
